4-5 heats circuit racing (depending on numbers)

Classes require minimum 6 entries to run seperately by close of normal entries.
Classes maybe combined at the discretion of the race committee.
Riders can enter multiple classes depending on what they are eligible for. Junior Ski can only enter that one class unless approved as a junior elite rider which allows them to enter Ski Lites with approval of other Ski Lites riders.

** All skis must not exceed maximum noise levels as per entry information sheet **

All riders to participate will need the following:
NSW PWC Entry completed
Member of AJSBA (either yearly or day licence)
PWC Licence
Approved helmet
Approved life jacket
Race number (as per IJSBA rule book standards, if it does not meet the rule book standards you may be excluded from racing)
PWC to pass safety check (all riders and PWC’s competing must have a current licence and registration which will need to be sighted during safety check, if we can not verify these are current and registration label is not attached you will not be racing)

Normal Entries Close Wednesday 11th August 2010
Entry fee $100.00 for first class, extra classes $50.00 per class.
Late entries received between Thursday 12th August and 8am Sunday 15th August will be charged an additional $100.00 late entry fee.
There will be no entries excepted after 8am Sunday. If you have not lodged and paid your entry and AJSBA licence by Wednesday 11th August you will be charged the late entry fee, if forms/fees not received by 8am Sunday you will not be racing.

There will be no exceptions to the above for any reason so please don’t ask….

Below are the dates for 2010/2011 season that will be held by the NSW PWC Association, we look forward to our current members attending and new participants joining us.

We will keep people informed of each individual event and what is on in the weeks leading up to the event via our website and threads on this forum.

Note all events below are tentative and subject to change (although we will try to not change dates/locations).

Sun 17th October 2010 – St George Sailing Club – Practise/Social Day – Enduro – Open track day, no racing, all welcome beginners to pro’s

Sun 12th December 2010 – St George Sailing Club – Practise/Social Day – Circuit – Open track day, no racing, all welcome beginners to pro’s, Christmas Celebration and Manufacturer Open Day

Wed 26th January 2011 – Newcastle Harbour Maritime Festival – Race Day – Enduro

Our AGM has been set for 7.30pm on Thursday 17th June at St George Sailing Club, all welcome to attend and provide input on the direction of the club, membership available on the night, only members have voting rights.

Prize money
The committee of the NSWPWC is proud to announce a cash prize pool for the Seadoo BRP – 2010 Australian PWC  Endurance Titles, prize money will be paid for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each class listed below. Please note we require 6 entries per class to guarantee prize money for that class.

Outright 1st place $500.00 (outright 1st also get their class 1st place money, team class not eligible for outright 1st)

$500.00 – 1st in class pro/am runabout open
$250.00 – 2nd in class pro/am runabout open
$100.00 – 3rd in class pro/am runabout open

$500.00 – 1st in class pro/am runabout stock
$250.00 – 2nd in class pro/am runabout stock
$100.00 – 3rd in class pro/am runabout stock

$300.00 – 1st in class pro/am team runabout open (team not eligible for outright 1st)

NSW PWC Association upcoming event is:

Sunday 02nd May 2010

Club Enduro Racing Series Rd 2 and JD’s Boatshed Bridge to Bridge
Race Start: NSW Ski Gardens, 2916 River Road, Wisemans Ferry.
Race Finish: Governor Phillip Park, Windsor

As you come down the hill into Wisemans Ferry, turn left into River Road at the Police Station. If you go past the hotel, you have missed the turn. Continue 1km down River Road and you will find the Ski Grounds is the first park on your right, competitors do not pay park entry fee as that is included in race entry fee (don’t take the ferry across the river, stay on the Sydney side of the River).

All competitors must be at the NSW Ski Gardens by 8am for scrutineering and riders meeting. Our race start time to confirmed to us by the UHPBC and will be confirmed closer to the day but should be around 10am.

All competitors must have a driver to take trailer to the finish at Windsor, Governor Phillip Park. All skis must be taken out of the water at Windsor, there are no return runs.

*** Please note some of the details below in schedule are subject to change as we discuss further leading into this event with the UHPBC ***
